Chie Funakura [ Art Director ] Chie started her career in the hair and beauty industry in Osaka, Japan where she worked for five years. With an ambition of becoming an international stylist, she left Japan to work in Europe. She spent four years working in London as a creative hair and beauty stylist at a fashionable Bond Street hair salon. In 1994 She returned to Japan where she joined the dynamic creative team of Watanabe Hair Salon. Since then Chie has been focusing her skills on artistic creativity within the hair and make up industry and has been responsible for creative hair and make up styling on TV. Commercial shoots the fashion shows　and magazines including GQ ID FHM and many more. Then she recommend by HARPER’sBAZAAR Australia as Tokyo’s best Hairdresser. Chie works with her clients to create the styles that they hope for. She advises them on issues such as hair texture, personal colour balance and how facial structures influence hairstyles. As a result of Chie's extensive experience, she is recognized within the industry as an expert in total creative beauty styling.
